Cub Scouting wants you!  Now is the time to join the fun and excitement of America's foremost youth program for boys...Cub Scouting.   A sign-up night will be held at 6:30 p.m. on tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Veteran's Memorial Hall located at 1425 Veteran's Memorial Circle, Yuba City, CA. 95993.  The meeting will take place in the American Legion meeting room on the south side of the building.

Cub Scout Pack 7050 recently held it's very first "Pack" meeting during which parents and guests were able to see our newest Tiger Cubs receive recognition and proceed through the initiation process. 

Cubmaster Ken McLemore explained the purpose of the Pack meeting and provided an overview of the evenings events.  Den Leader Kristina McLemore presented the recognition awards and performed the ceremonial "Face Painting" which, I must add, the Scouts were very proud of.  I suspect some of these little guys wore the face paint to school the next day.

The time has come to get down to business in starting up our new Cub Scout Pack No. 7050.   This flyer will be distrubuted to April Lane, Bridge Street, Franklin and King Avenue elementary schools during the first week of September.  Our first Round-up will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the Veteran's Memorial Hall at 1425 Veterans Memorial Circle in Yuba City.

The new Cub Scout Pack/Boy Scout Troop is open to all boys in 1st through 8th grades from any of the above captioned schools or from the family of any veteran.

Sutter Post No. 705 of The American Legion is proud to be the sponsoring organization for Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew 7050 and the most important part if this effort (so far) will come on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 when we will conduct our very first "ROUND-UP".
